Beautiful Lent
A time is the desert…Lent is often referred to as 40 days in the desert. It refers to the 40 days that Jesus spent in the desert being tempted by the devil. It is a time of self-denial and service. This doesn’t sound all that beautiful, but this Lent, we are going to delve into the ways that Lent is a beautiful season. A season where God does beautiful things in our lives.
For the Bible art journaling, I will be focusing on watercolor plants and florals. I will also provide free printables in the Devotion in Action Free Resource Library that you can trace or use in your journaling!

The Challenge
Over the next 40 days, leading up to Easter, I will post one devotional and Bible art journaling tutorial each week. Read the devotional or watch the video and respond to what God is saying to you. You can create art in your Bible or a journal and post a pic in the Devotion in Action Facebook group. You can write your thoughts out and post on Facebook or in the comments. Let’s share what God is saying with each other as we travel through this beautiful season of Lent.
